Artistic Italy

Yay, I'm back and that means lots of holiday snaps to show you.  Actually,  I would like to think that you consider that these are more than 'snaps' as I have spent quite some time today adding some creative 'tweaking'.

This was an interesting piece of sculpture spotted in a (closed) shop window:

I have no idea who made it or what its called because the shop was closed for its afternoon siesta.

I love looking at buildings for details:

...as even run-down ones often have great colour and texture

And I just had to take a picture of these outdoor seats, they looked so very stylish:

..as did these all white ones, right next to them:

Both modelled here by my two willing sons with absolutely no bribery needed! ☺

And, as you can see by these picture postcard type of scenic shots, the weather there was balmy:

As a result, most of our time in Italy was spent cooling off in the hotel pool:

Creative pictures of the few days that we spent in a very wet (from rain!) Danish Legoland will be following soon.  Some of the things that were made out of just a few (hundred!) building blocks are absolutely amazing!
