Tim Holtz Ranger Aerosol Baubles

There are a lot of Tim Holtz's tags going around in Blogland at the moment - but these aren't them!  They are the baubles that were featured on the Ranger Blog today.

Pretty difficult to photograph at nightime but I think you can just about see the effect that the alcohol inks have created on some clear baubles.

The technique shown on the video on the Ranger website today (here) was to use an aerosol air spray
and Alcohol inks:
You simply put a few drops of alcohol inks into the bauble
..and blast it with air using the straw attachment that comes with the air canister.

I am going to add some metallic mixtures to these two I have made when I can find them!  I must tidy up my craft stuff, I just keep losing everything!
****
And finally..

A special mention to my older son today...
..who played the part of a dad in the School Play today based on World War II - he even got to show our real Town Mayor around the school!

...and these poor ducks
..who are stuck with virtually no water on our frozen local canal.  Here in this part of the West Midlands, we haven't got the really deep snow that some areas of the country have, but we have got the ice and freezing temperatures that make it so difficult for all of us to get about.

Thanks for looking and for any comments,
See you tomorrow,

ooooh pretty baubles.

Bet you were so proud of your son - he looks so cool in his costume.

Hoping you snow's cleared up now and the poor ducks can get back to their swimming.
