Decorative Initial Fridge Magnets

Today's craft is another vintage inspired one. Its fridge magnets made from needlepoint styled napkins:

There are a lot of decorative napkins around at the moment, so maybe its a 'designer trend?'

To make these, I drew around my round dome pebbles with a permanent Sharpie (have you seen these new ones - they don't bleed through paper, fab!)
Then I cut them out and stuck a magnet on the back.  I glued them on with Glossy Accents, which is great for this because its strong but also clear.
They are going to make quite a posh addition to the magnetic noticeboard.

Thanks for stopping by and for any comments,
See you tomorrow,

I've seen this done with patterned paper but not napkins. You've given me an idea for a little Christmas pressie! Thanks Nicky :P

And I too am now on the look out for the new Sharpies so 2 questions. Where did you get them and where did you get the magnetic backing?

Thanks crafters.

Jaqui, I got my Sharpie pens from WHSmiths. Not all branches sell them but they may become a countrywide thing soon.

Glad to help with your chrissie pressie, Carmen.
